Swimphi Manhattan Beach provides private swimming lessons to the Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Torrance communities. We offer high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities.

The temperature of the Manhattan Beach outdoor pool is maintained at a comfortable 82°F.

Pricing & Membership Options

Private Swim Lessons

  • $65 per 30-minute lesson (billed monthly)

  • Schedule: Saturday and Sunday sessions

How Billing Works Lessons are structured as a recurring monthly membership billed at the beginning of each month (your first month is prorated). Monthly dues are calculated based on the exact number of Sundays in that calendar month:

4-Sunday Month: $260 ($65 × 4)

5-Sunday Month: $325 ($65 × 5)

Annual Registration Fee

  • $35 per student, collected upon initial registration and renewed annually on your anniversary month.

Directions to the Pool

The pool is conveniently located:

  • 0.5 mile from PCH

  • 1.5 miles from Hermosa Beach

  • 2 miles from South Bay Galleria

  • 2 miles from Redondo Beach

  • 4 miles from El Segundo

  • 5 miles from Torrance

  • 5 miles from Hawthorne

Pool Parking and Entrance

Park on the red-highlighted streets, which are off-campus. Then, follow the blue line to reach the pool.

The entrance to the ramp is at the intersection of Keats Street and South Meadow Street. The soccer field will be directly in front of you.

Ascend the staircase and then enter the pool area.

Pass through the gate with the soccer field to your left.

Proceed forward onto the campus.

Ascend the ramp with the soccer field on your left side.

An alternative to the steps is the ramp that continues around the pool.
