Peter Ford

Peter Ford, the driving force behind Swimphi, serves as its founder and CEO. With a deep-rooted passion for swimming that spans over 35 years, Peter boasts an impressive background in the sport. Prior to his relocation to the United States, he earned recognition as one of the top 20 swimmers in Great Britain. Peter's competitive swimming journey included representing Loughborough University in England, and he even took part in the British Olympic Trials in the year 2000. He holds a Masters World record for the 4x50 freestyle relay, achieved a Scottish National gold medal in the same event, and has consistently secured numerous gold medals at the US Masters National Championships throughout his career. In an effort to give back to the swim community, he originally created the British Swim Academy where he has instructed/coached over one thousand children in Los Angeles, including a few professional athletes and celebrities.

Clients include Musk family, Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers players and taught Actor Mark McKenna, the lead actor in the upcoming movie An Autumn Summer. Peter trained with Cody Simpson to help him qualify for Australian Olympic Trials and Vladimir Morozov to help him for Tokyo Olympics.

Peter is on a personal mission to minimizing the time and expenses associated with learning how to swim.
